Andy Milbauer has been teaching since 1999. His classroom experiences range from outdoor education to public schools to private boarding schools. He has experience with both urban and rural challenges to instruction. He majored in Zoology and Biological Aspects of Conservation at UW Madison. He also spent a semester on the RV Westard through Sea Education Association.
He earned his M. Ed. from the University of Minnesota when he left outdoor education to start teaching in a traditional classroom. His hobbies include gardening, kayaking, running, biking, throwing pottery, and Nordic skiing. He and his husband share the home with their two year rescue mutt, Spike.
